The first photo above shows the main register office building. It was formerly the old town's police station and still retains many features including bars at some windows! Midsomer Court is accessed through a walkway to the right side of the building. Immediately behind the camera position is a large green with mature trees and next to that St Mary and All Saints Church Beaconsfield - which is itself a popular wedding venue. This means that there is a ready made wedding photo location available within a few yards of the Office.

Background Information and Highlights

The Beaconsfield Register Office is in the centre of Beaconsfield Buckinghamshire. There are two ceremony rooms. Midsomer Court at the rear of the main building is the larger and is light and airy. It is in the two weddings featured in this gallery. The smaller Disraeli Room is in the main building. It looks good inside but it is quite cramped for space and Peter recommends you go for Midsomer Court unless you plan to have just a handful of guests.

There is a decent amount of free car parking opposite the Office - though this is not available on market days so do be careful to check.

The registrars conducting ceremonies at Beaconsfield Register Office are easy to work with and eager to help in any way that they can. So its pretty straightforward for professional photographers and videographers to record the ceremony in full. The same staff also work at a number of popular nearby wedding venues e.g. see Peter’s Burnham Beeches Hotel Wedding Photo Gallery.

See lots more registry office wedding photo galleries including e.g. Peter’s Reading Registry Office, Peter’s Harrow Registry Office, Peter’s Newbury Registry Office, Peter’s Richmond Registry Office, Peter’s Guildford Registry Office, Peter’s St Albans Registry Office, Peter’s Bracknell Registry Office with South Hill Park, Peter’s Basingstoke Registry Office, Peter’s Guildhall Windsor, Peter’s Wokingham Town Hall.

Midsomer Court is the subject of the next photo above. It has a decent amount of natural light making the job for photographers and videographers a whole lot easier than is sometimes the case!

This bride hugged by her enthusiastic guest outside just after the wedding ceremony at Beaconsfield Register Office. There is plenty of space and photogenic backdrops within the grounds of Midsomer Court

Peter made use of some of the Spring colours such as the flowering cherries and daffodils for some portraits. This backdrop is in Hedgerley Lane just a few yards walk from Beaconsfield Registry Office

Harleyford Golf Club on the outskirts of west Marlow hosted this couples wedding reception. Here is some of the very tasty food ready for the wedding breakfast. See Peter’s Harleyford Golf Club Wedding Photo Gallery

The Disraeli Room illustrates a wedding ceremony in progress. It takes around twenty guests maximum and can be tight for space so consider the much larger Midsomer Court if you plan to have more than a few guests

Many brides like to have their photo coverage from the "getting ready" earlier in the day. Others prefer the coverage to start shortly before the ceremony begins. This photo shows the cute little person waiting patiently in the foyer of Midsomer Court for the wedding to start

There are no silly restrictions applied to professional photography or video by the Beaconsfield Register Office Staff so great moment such as the exchange of rings can be recorded for ever

Peter shot some of the must have portrait and group photos on the terrace outside Midsomer Court after the ceremony

We also shot some photos alongside the lovely St Mary and All Saints Church Beaconsfield which is just a few yards away from the Register Office

The guests threw rice rather than confetti! This was at the couples home and Peter shot lots more photos there

Most couples who have Midsomer Court for their ceremony choose a combined photography and video package by Peter. This couple managed to acquire the Town Hall . It is a gay ceremony that Peter video'd
