Hey why not take a look at this photo slideshow of three of the weddings I have photographed and videoed at the St Albans Registry Office near the town centre of St Albans Hertfordshire. The slideshow runs from some pre-wedding posed photos one couple selected for the nearby St Michaels Manor Hotel and another taking in St Albans Cathedral as a backdrop (this groom had attended the nearby private school in his earlier life). Then photos of the arrivals. The slideshow should give you a really good feel for what happens on a wedding day at this beautiful old venue complete with the well-kept grounds which are great for the must-have group photos and portraits afterwards. Background Information and Highlights

There are three featured weddings in this gallery of St Albans Register Office. Two of the couples chose to have some photos at separate locations; the first was at the nearby St Michaels Manor Hotel and the second in the environs of St Albans Cathedral. The Register Office is itself photogenic both inside and outside so you don't need to go further afield for photos unless you wish to do so.

The first couple illustrated in this gallery had a very small ceremony at the Register Office - just themselves and two witnesses. Their plan was to have a much larger reception / party afterwards in the Manchester area. The second couple invited just their close family and friends as there was a big bash arranged later in France!

The third couple really pushed the boat out and the next day had an amazing celebrant led ceremony conducted by Lynn Herbert Ceremonies (see Lynn’s website if you fancy something different to a religious or corporate venue or register office wedding); followed by a garden party - see some of these photos further down this page.

The registration staff were great as always, no silly rules regarding professional photography and video during ceremonies, so Peter was able to shoot a comprehensive coverage.

Parking is very limited and sometimes requires permits; there is some alternative parking on-street in some of the nearby roads.
