Background Information and Highlights

The elegant Audleys Wood Hotel is located just south of Basingstoke, a short hop from the M3 and M25 motorways, and so is an easy wedding venue for guests to reach from the south of England. There is plenty of onsite car parking.

The hotel itself is fitted furnished and maintained to a high standard in an English country house style. The permanent marquee screened by mature trees and shrubs makes a great location for receptions. The grounds are extensive and there are shaded areas available should the sunlight be too harsh for good quality portraits. The rear grounds have a variety of trees with different coloured foliage enabling photo backdrops to be varied. For more colour the front of the hotel is best with its elaborate hanging baskets.

The registrars who conduct marriage ceremonies at the Audleys Wood Hotel are from the local Basingstoke Hampshire office. This has long been one of the most progressive register offices in the South, and professional photographers and videographers are able to shoot a good variety of stills and video during wedding ceremonies without having to worry about any petty rules.
