The featured couple chose the Pinewood Hotel, a popular and busy wedding venue close to Slough on the Buckinghamshire Berkshire border, for their wedding ceremony and reception. Its within easy reach of the M4 M40 and M25 motorways and there is plenty of free parking onsite.
The registrars for ceremonies at the Pinewood Hotel come from the Beaconsfield Registry Office and as always they were a great pleasure to work with - no onerous restrictions for professional photographers and videographers during the ceremony.
Our couple chose a combined photography and video package commencing once our bride was well on the way to being ready and finishing a little while after the first dance.
This was a late winter / early spring day and we were quite lucky with the weather all things considered. It wasn't pleasant enough for guests to enjoy the terraces and five acres of grounds but it remained just about dry enough for us to brave a few minutes outside to shoot the important group photos and portraits. This is important as everyone looks so much better in natural light than in interior artificial light - unless some quite elaborate supplementary lighting is rigged up indoors, which Peter always carries for such eventualities.

The photos commence with a shot of the exterior of the rear of the Pinewood Hotel. You'll see that the terrace offers great opportunities for relaxing and enjoying the day, weather permitting. Sadly on this day nature was not going to oblige us with sunshine and a mild temperature. Oh well!
The main function room is called the Symak Suite looks great set up ready for the wedding ceremony. It opens out onto the terrace and gardens
