Thankyou for everything you have done, and we would certainly recommend you in the future.

Thank you for putting the online galleries up. We are both really pleased with the results! We also both really appreciated the way you ran things on the day, both your mannerism whilst dealing with everybody and when organising the group photos, and the unobtrusive way you went around the reportage. Naomi mentioned that on some of the pictures in the house for instance she had no idea you were in the room! We will get back to you with a list of our favourites for the album. This may take a little time however with so many good photos to choose from!

The Thames riverside wedding venue The Compleat Angler Marlow is a very popular choice for marriage ceremonies and wedding receptions on the Buckinghamshire Berkshire border.
The Compleat Angler Marlow has an unrivalled position adjacent to the picturesque old suspension bridge, with grounds sweeping right down to the waters edge. Photographers should be aware that there is very little if any shade in the main grounds and so you do need to take great care in where you shoot the participants on very bright days. It may be worthwhile shooting some of the formal posed photos in the evening when the light is rather more forgiving. Fireworks are permitted in the hotel's grounds to the rear, adjacent to the river.
The hotel is easy to reach as it is only a few miles north of Maidenhead and with access from the M4 and M40 motorways. The old bridge itself can however be a source of traffic delays so that should be factored in when planning to visit the Compleat Angler. There is plenty of onsite parking available.
The registrars responsible for weddings and civil partnerships at the Compleat Angler are from the local Windsor and Maidenhead Register Office and are always easy to work with - a great relief for professional photographers and videographers who have to put up with some petty and even bizarre restrictions in other parts of the country and at some churches.
One of the most striking features of the Compleat Anglers location is the huge weir on the River Thames right next to it. The first photo below shows the view of the weir from one of the hotel's bedrooms often used for the girls to get ready in. Can you see the anglers in their boat as in "the Compleat Angler"?
The next photo illustrates an effective way to shoot a large group photo to include all the wedding guests. Peter has taken the photo from Marlow Bridge looking down to the hotel's lovely gardens:
Its nice to get up on the bridge early in the day for a few semi-posed photos of the groom with his entourage:
Meanwhile the girls are of course busily getting ready. Peter's coverage often starts with this and includes detail photos of the flowers - which look great on the first page of you wedding album:
And we must not forget the shoes of course - especially shoes as magnificent as these!
There are some lovely photos and video clips just begging to be shot as the girls complete their final touches:
Late evening can be a good time to catch up on some extra posed photos if things were too hectic in the afternoon:

Skills that make me a nightmare for people like you. Do not steal now, and that'll be the end of it. I will not look for you, I will not pursue you. But if you do steal, I will look for you, I will find you, and I will kill you. (With appreciation to Bryan in "Taken").
