I'm just writing to say we absolutely love the photos! Thank you so much for all your hard work, there are photos of every aspect of the day and pretty much every guest. Its going to be very difficult choosing which ones to include in the album as there are so many great ones to chose from! And thank you for the excellent service you provided on the day - many people commented on how impressed they were, and everyone who has seen the photos really likes them. I will be sure to recommend your services to any friends and family getting married in the area in the future.

Northcote House Sunningdale Park is one of the De Vere venues. Its position just outside Ascot Berkshire makes it a well placed location for weddings in the South of England, being close to the M4 M3 and M25 motorways. There is lots of onsite secure free parking.
Northcote House is the lovely neo-georgian building in which weddings and receptions are held. It is within Sunningdale Park, and Sunningdale Park is the actual hotel and grounds. Just to avoid any confusion! It includes several large rooms suitable for the wedding party to use to get ready. The adjacent Sunningdale Park has over two hundred bedrooms so no problems accommodating guests either!
The interior of Northcote House has a grand opulent charm and is very well maintained. Outside, the grounds of Sunningdale Park are extensive varied and again well maintained. You'll see there is a Mediterranean style garden which is a great location for those essential formal family photos. Further afield is the lake, and a golf buggy is available to take couples to its banks. There are games outside to please both the adults and the younger guests, including an large golfing area.
The Maidenhead and Windsor Registrars are responsible for weddings and civil partnerships at Northcote House and they are always a real pleasure to work with for professional photographers and videographers.

Northcote House is a truly imposing wedding venue both inside and outside. In the photo below you can see the front of the building sans cars and delivery vans. A mark of a good professional wedding photographer is attention to detail and this includes waiting for the right moment when shooting grand exteriors.
Peter's coverage usually starts with some detail shots of the flowers, dresses, jewellery, shoes and suchlike and moves onto the girls finishing their hair and makeup. This looks great at the start of your wedding album.
There are some lovely shots to be had when the bride is getting into her wedding dress:
Some black and white photos can look terrific in your wedding album:
Some brides prefer to have their coverage start from the point when they have finished getting ready. Some portraits with bridesmaids, parents and brothers and sisters - in other words a slightly more traditional approach.
A wasp made an unwelcome visit onto our brides nose!
The great hall at Northcote House is a truly spectacular setting. In the next photo we see the guests gathering and greeting each other before the ceremony starts:
Golf buggies are readily available at Northcote House. Often they are used to transport the bride and groom around the extensive grounds for photos but they can be made available for guests as well:
Our bride Kate completed here getting ready at her parents house rather than at Northcote House. Here we see her arrive by limo with her dad:
Peter usually shoots a few portrait style photos of the groom moments before the ceremony starts. Here we have the groom with his best man posing beside the main entrance to Northcote House:
Live music can make a big difference to the ambience of the wedding ceremony and the rest of the day. Our pianist played in the main hall adjacent to the ceremony room:
Wedding ceremonies can take place in the main hall at Northcote House but more often are in the light and airy Princess Royal Room overlooking the grounds. This is certainly much easier for professional photography and video as the main hall is really quite dark:
Our bride Natalie had their little boy to contend with throughout her wedding ceremony but no-one seemed to mind him!
There are some great character photos waiting to be shot during ceremonies:
The registrars who conduct wedding ceremonies at Northcote House are very easy going and it is possible to shoot a full record in both stills and video formats:
It is not permitted to photograph or video the real signing of the marriage register but the registrars always set up a "fake" signing immediately afterwards, and invite the guests to shoot their own photos:
The presentation of the marriage certificate to the bride and groom is another nice moment to capture in photos and video:
The staff at Northcote House normally whisk the bride and groom away immediately after the ceremony and then introduce them again to all the guests congregated in the hall at the base of the grand staircase:
There are lots of good places in which to shoot the essential posed wedding photos of groups of family and friends. One such place is from the high terrace at the rear of Northcote House - this ensures that everyone can be seen in the photo:
Parts of the gardens are extremely colourful and make a fantastic backdrop for the group photos:
Bright sunshine can be less than flattering in portraits and so it can be a good idea to seek some forgiving shade in the Mediterranean style gardens to one side of Northcote House:
There are some gorgeous locations just a short golf buggy drive away from the main building. Most couples like to have the next photo with the lake and Northcote House forming a backdrop:
Confetti is allowed outside Northcote House:
If you have a receiving line it is normally in the main hall:
The Sunningdale Room prepared ready for the wedding breakfast:
The speeches are a great photo and video opportunity:
The venue supplies various games to entertain both the adults and the younger guests outside:
The main hall has a really unique look for your first dance:
