Background Information and Highlights

Please note that although Maidenhead Register Office (also commonly known as the "Registry Office") in the town hall is readily available for ceremonies (maximum of 48 guests) most couples seem to prefer the Guildhall in Windsor - which is run by the same registration staff. Both venues - Maidenhead and Windsor - are in the town centres and car parking can be tricky so do ensure that your guests allow for enough time.

Our featured couple for Maidenhead chose to have a very informal wedding ceremony with their close family and friends. No white dress, no tuxes, indeed our groom sported designer jeans!

The coverage started with a few portraits of the bride at a local park, taking advantage of the late afternoon autumn sunshine. Then on to the register office for the main event.

The registrars on duty were as always a real pleasure to work with.
