If you are planning a wedding in the Kingston and Richmond areas do take a look at the Prices, the Photo Galleries, the Videos, and the Albums. This gallery illustrates just one of many venues for you to browse.
Thankyou for all our photos - they are fantastic!
Our featured couple chose the beautiful historic setting of Hampton Court Palace for their wedding day.
Hampton Court Palace is of course one of the Royal palaces and is famous for its strong connections with King Henry VIII among many other things. Its located just to the west of central London and is easily reached via the M25, M3 and M4 motorways, plus of course Heathrow and Gatwick airports. There is plenty of onsite car parking for wedding guests.
Hampton Court Palace and the grounds remain open to the public during your wedding day - apart from the areas set aside for you - and this should be borne in mind when planning your photos.
Our bride and groom had in fact completed an intimate legal marriage ceremony with close family and friends before their day at Hampton Court Palace. The Hampton Court day was really a party day to celebrate with their huge number of friends and relations. They improvised their own "ceremony" in the Garden Room, followed by a drinks reception in the Great Hall, then a lovely oriental meal in the Garden Room.
An unusual and very popular feature of their ceremony was that all the many guests joined our couple to sing "Summer Nights" from the movie Grease at its conclusion. So uplifting!
Can you "spot the bride" in the photo below? There she is with her makeup artist in the conservatory. The gardens had been prepared for a small reception after our featured couple's legal wedding ceremony a few days earlier:
We completed a few of the posed photos with close family and guests before the ceremony got underway:
If you have lots of bridesmaids and groomsmen - as our couple did - the sort of group pose in the next photo can be the best way to ensure that everyone can be seen:
You can have exclusive use of the well-maintained gardens surrounding the Garden Room at Hampton Court Palace. This can make it much easier to shoot some of the set piece posed photos than trying to do so in the public areas:
A jazz band provided music for this lovely sunny afternoon:
Soon our couples very own improvised ceremony was underway. This can be a great opportunity for professional wedding photographers to shoot lots of character photos of the guests:
Guests were provided with a "hymn sheet" with the words to "Summer Nights" from Grease, enabling everyone to sing along:
Its nice to get a big group photo of all the wedding guests together especially with a backdrop as iconic as Hampton Court Palace:
After a photo shoot we adjourned to the Great Hall at Hampton Court Palace for the drinks reception. The Tudor era decor is truly stunning:
Then it was back to the Garden Room for a sumptious celebratory meal:
There were lots of speeches including from our bride:
Some photos of your venue after dark make a nice ending to your wedding album:

Skills that make me a nightmare for people like you. Do not steal now, and that'll be the end of it. I will not look for you, I will not pursue you. But if you do steal, I will look for you, I will find you, and I will kill you. (With appreciation to Bryan in "Taken").
