Great photos. They are wonderful!!! Many thanks indeed for everything on the day. We particularly love the shots around the castle grounds.
St Peters Church Clearwell hosted this May wedding. Photography was allowed during the ceremony but it should be noted that the layout and very low light within the building restricts the range of shots that are possible. The wedding reception was a short walk away at the gorgeous crusader style Clearwell Castle. The weather was windy and with heavy showers so we weren't able to make as much use of the superb gardens as is normally possible. Vicky and Philip travelled from their home in London to enjoy this lovely venue.
If you are planning a civil ceremony at the castle you should be aware that the local registrars may impose some restrictions on photography and video during the ceremony so do check directly with them first to avoid disappointment.
The couple chose a reportage or photo-journalist style for most of the day.
The first photo below illustrates the very distinctive and grand entrance to Clearwell Castle:
Many brides like their photographic and video coverage to start with the girls getting ready. Detail shots of the dress, shoes, jewellery and suchlike are popular and look great at the start of your wedding album:
You simply must shoot a Jimmy Choo shoe!
Our brides dad arranged the horses and carriage for going to and fro between the castle and the church:
