Pat and Mike chose the popular Berkshire wedding venue the Elcot Park Hotel - or to give it its full name the Mercure Newbury Elcot Park Hotel - for their wedding ceremony and reception.
The hotel has an enviable location in the lush countryside just to the west of Newbury. Its easily reached as its close to the junctions of the M4 motorway with the A34 north south trunk route. There is plenty of free secure onsite parking.
The mature grounds have lots of opportunities for photogenic backdrops as does the recently refurbished interior.
The weather on the day was quite typical for this Summer - some decent sunny periods but rain never far away. Fortunately we had some good opportunities for the all-important group photos and portraits in the afternoon and the deluge did not materialise until later into the evening. Phew!

Skills that make me a nightmare for people like you. Do not steal now, and that'll be the end of it. I will not look for you, I will not pursue you. But if you do steal, I will look for you, I will find you, and I will kill you. (With appreciation to Bryan in "Taken").
