You can also pay by internet bank transfer – contact us for the sort code and account number. All prints sized 7”x5”, 9”x6”, and 10”x8” come with a lovely black bevelled matte ready for display. All these print sizes cost the same but you may wish to avoid 10”x8” unless the print is intended for a readymade frame of that size because its aspect ratio involves cropping some content from the two shortest sides of the image – compare a widescreen television to a standard television – 9”x6” resembles widescreen and 10”x8” resembles standard. If an image does not work in 10x8 it is supplied in 9x6. |

Background Information:
The tiny church of St Cosmus and St Damian in the Blean, in the Kent village of Blean near Canterbury hosted doctors Violaine and Wills marriage ceremony. The vicar is a friend of the bride's father and was happy to allow unrestricted photography during the ceremony. The internal layout of the church does not facilitate movement by the photographer and I chose to shoot from the an area near the front where I was partially hidden from the view of the guests by the church's pulpit. Photographers should note that inside the church the light levels vary a lot and you will need good performance at high ISO's and image stabilised lenses - or that old stand in the tripod! Outside the church the open space is quite tight and large groups may be better shot at the reception venue. The car park fills up quickly and you may need to time things carefully if you are to obtain images of the wedding car without the clutter of modern vehicles in the background. Violaine's car has always "lived" in the Canterbury area since it was new in the 1930's.
From the church we adjourned to the marquee reception at the brides fathers house in Blean. The house is undergoing massive rebuilding work - the sort where you have a static caravan in garden! Thats why the house does not feature in the photos.
The weather on the day for this July wedding started overcast. That nice even lighting enabled some great shots of the bride after her getting ready. Later in the day we had bright sunshine which made for a great atmosphere at the reception.
