Not all images "work" in black and white. Some have been selected as suitable for conversion and can be viewed within the main galleries. Others can be uploaded for you on request.
Guests - no highspeed internet access? Please request a free CD of these galleries (please note that images are watermarked and not printable).
Please forward this event to your friends and relations – Ashton Lamont does not collect guests email addresses at weddings but there are always lots of requests to view the galleries. And remember Facebook, MySpace, Bebo etc!
We hope you enjoy the galleries and may be able to recommend Ashton Lamont to friends and colleagues for our wedding, event, portrait, and commercial work.
Guests: High quality individually edited photographic prints or printready digital files can be purchased. See the Online Order Form clickable underneath each fullsize image or contact us with your specific requirements and with your credit or debit card details or send in a cheque (payee “Ashton Lamont”). You can also pay by internet bank transfer – contact us for the sort code and account number. All prints sized 7”x5”, 9”x6”, and 10”x8” come with a lovely black bevelled matte ready for display. All these print sizes cost the same but you may wish to avoid 10”x8” unless the print is intended for a readymade frame of that size because its aspect ratio involves cropping some content from the two shortest sides of the image – compare a widescreen television to a standard television – 9”x6” resembles widescreen and 10”x8” resembles standard. If an image does not work in 10x8 it is supplied in 9x6. |

The couple chose an English civil marriage ceremony at the busy Weybridge Register Office in Weybridge Surrey, followed by a Chinese wedding reception at the China Boulevard Restaurant on the banks of the River Thames in Wandsworth London.
Ling and CK required quite a lot of formal photographs, which is often the case where there is a Chinese connection of some kind.
Weybridge Register Office can get very busy. There were ten weddings scheduled for the afternoon we were there - one every thirty minutes! For this reason the registrars do restrict photography during the ceremony to the bare essentials. Couples contemplating getting married at this office should remember that you must stick rigidly to your timetable as there is no room for lateness! The office has well maintained gardens to the rear where great formal photos can be taken. As with most register offices there is not a suitable indoor area to use for photos in the event of wet weather.
The China Boulevard is a large modern restaurant right on the riverbank. The staff can prepare an indoor area for formal photos if necessary.
You'll see in the galleries two aspects common in Chinese weddings. The tea ceremony and the toasting of the bride and groom.
Ling and CK had a second wedding reception shortly after in Hong Kong - lucky things!
