Not all images "work" in black and white. Some have been selected as suitable for conversion and can be viewed within the main galleries. Others can be uploaded for you on request.
Guests - no highspeed internet access? Please request a free CD of these galleries (please note that images are watermarked and not printable).
Please forward this event to your friends and relations – Ashton Lamont does not collect guests email addresses at weddings but there are always lots of requests to view the galleries. And remember Facebook, MySpace, Bebo etc!
We hope you enjoy the galleries and may be able to recommend Ashton Lamont to friends and colleagues for our wedding, event, portrait, and commercial work.
Guests: High quality individually edited photographic prints or printready digital files can be purchased. See the Online Order Form clickable underneath each fullsize image or contact us with your specific requirements and with your credit or debit card details or send in a cheque (payee “Ashton Lamont”). You can also pay by internet bank transfer – contact us for the sort code and account number. All prints sized 7”x5”, 9”x6”, and 10”x8” come with a lovely black bevelled matte ready for display. All these print sizes cost the same but you may wish to avoid 10”x8” unless the print is intended for a readymade frame of that size because its aspect ratio involves cropping some content from the two shortest sides of the image – compare a widescreen television to a standard television – 9”x6” resembles widescreen and 10”x8” resembles standard. If an image does not work in 10x8 it is supplied in 9x6. |

Anita and Matthew chose The Guildhall Windsor for their marriage ceremony. As always the Maidenhead and Windsor registrars were helpful almost to a fault and wedding photographers should have no problems shooting at The Guildhall. The main Chamber overlooks Windsor High Street and sunlight streaming through the large windows can be problematic for photography but since the registrars do not place any onerous restrictions on movement photographers can obtain shots from a variety of positions during the ceremony.
The couple had John Grosse as their toastmaster for the day. John doubles as a town crier and as you'll see from the galleries he does a fine job of announcing Anita and Matthew to the town of Windsor as we walked through the streets.
After the ceremony we adjourned to The Long Walk Windsor Great Park. This is just a short trot from The Guildhall. Photography is permitted for small groups and for short durations without the need for a permit. There is no shade available adjacent to the gates of Windsor Castle so its a good idea to complete some extra formal photos later in the day if you have very bright sunshine at the time you are in the park.
We then made our way down to the River Thames and boarded the riverboat Southern Comfort from the Maidenhead Steam Navigation Company. We were blessed with one of the few days in August when we had sunny and hot weather and the trip up the Thames was delightful. The bacon butties went down well with the guests despite the heat!
The wedding breakfast and evening reception took place at The Sir Christopher Wrens House Hotel Windsor. The Christopher Wren hotel is on the riverbank which makes it easy to combine with riverboat shuffles and is next to the footbridge connecting Windsor with Eton.
